Check · badges and records

Registered with whom? Checked for what?

Let a badge prompt a question. Ask what it covers and which record supports it.

Registration is a different claim from approval

As of September 2026, neither registration with FDA nor a drug listing showed FDA approval of the business or the medicine.

FDA is short for the Food and Drug Administration.

NDC stands for National Drug Code; a drug directory uses it to identify a product.

As of September 2026, FDA said an NDC code did not mean it approved the product.

FDA also said it did not approve healthcare providers, including doctors’ offices.

What an outside pharmacy check covers

Accreditation means an outside organisation checks whether a pharmacy follows quality rules for making medicines.

Compounding means making medicine to order.

For a pharmacy making medicine to order, the check covers rules for preparing medicines and handling materials safely.

The check does not test each batch or judge how well care works for a patient.

It is different from the licence a state issues.

  • Which organisation issued the badge?
  • What work or record does it cover?
  • Where can I check its status?
  • Is this also the pharmacy or clinician’s state licence?
  • What evidence supports this exact medicine?

Keep the licence, the way the pharmacy works, and the medicine’s evidence as separate questions. An answer to one does not finish the others.
