Separate the service fee from the medicine
As of September 2026, most of the online weight-care advertisements checked here charged a monthly service fee and a separate medicine fee.
Use your service’s own quote: those advertisements did not cover every service or show what patients paid.
Some advertised opening-month offers differed from the ongoing fee.
- The visit
- Ask whether visits are paid for separately or through a membership.
- The medicine
- Ask for the named medicine’s price and its form: pill, injection, or another form.
- The tests
- Ask what is ordered, where it is done, and who bills you.
- The extras
- Ask about delivery, supplies, follow-up, and cancellation.
Compare the same package
Make a bill you can add up: service fee ___ + medicine ___ + tests ___ + delivery ___ + other charges ___ = total ___. Fill the blanks with the service’s written prices.
Make a separate total for the first month and for later months. Keep any renewal or cancellation charge beside them.
- What is due before the assessment?
- What charge remains when the visit ends without a prescription?
- What is the ongoing fee after the opening offer?
- Which costs are outside the package?
- Is there a longer commitment or an automatic renewal?
- How do cancellation and refund terms work?
Use the same questions for every option. A shorter quote may leave more blanks; ask the service to fill them in.
Keep the quote’s date in your notes. Before paying, check that its terms still apply to the visit and product you are considering.
Notes behind the answers
Check the fee after the opening offer
Ask for the total now and after the opening offer ends. Advertised charges alone are not your full bill.
